After eight days of constant fishing the students are exhausted, but now on their penultimate day Nick and Jon are taking them on a four mile hike to one of the most remote lochs they can visit. Meanwhile, Gary and Nigel are fishing by the hotel.

Episode 1

It's day two of the students' Fly Fishing education and Nick has found two experts to take them out onto a secret loch in the search of Brown Trout and, with any luck, a salmon.

Episode 2

On the third day of Fishing School the students are beginning to gain the confidence to go off by themselves, but as the weather moves in spirits begin to fall. 

Episode 3

It's the fourth day of Fishing School and the students have a long climb ahead of them just to get to the hill loch. Most of the students are enjoying themselves, but Gary is still yet to catch a fish.

Episode 4

On day five of Fishing School the students can't go game fishing because it's Sunday, a religious day, but Nick is going to take them out to sea to try and catch pollock, mackerel and cod in an environment that most of them have never fished before.

Episode 5

On day six of Fishing School, Nick decides to start a competition between the students and teaches the more advanced ones a few extra skills. After the break, fishing's most embarrassing accessory.

Episode 6

On day seven, Nick is taking the more exhausted students to some roadside lochs while Jon takes the fitter students up to the hill lochs once more for some fresh air and beautiful scenery.

Episode 7

Day eight and the students are heading south toward Inverness, to the commercial fishery at Tarvie Loch. It's a different location and a different type of fish, which means the students need to learn a whole new set of skills.
