Joan buries her diamonds and Boisie takes her back to Bernard's to cover her tracks. The job Boisie has in mind for Joan is smuggling stolen jewellery to Spain, but first Joan adeptly steals designer items using a stolen cheque book.

Episode 2

Joan aims to provide a stable home for Kelly by outdoing her foster parents financially. She joins Boisie in stealing a Stubbs painting, but the plan goes awry when the owner's ex-husband unexpectedly appears. 

Episode 3

Joan and Boisie buy an engagement ring while the police search for the missing Stubbs painting at Boisie's store.

Episode 4

Boisie's warehouse is reduced to embers by the IRA and Joan is attacked in prison as a warning to keep quiet. Joan is released on bail but faces a potential ten year sentence for her part in stealing the Stubbs painting.

Episode 5

It's the day before the heist and Joan is preparing to gain access to Kelly's school. Albie has arranged for Kelly's name to be included on her forged passport; he urges her to tell Boisie her plan.
