Anine heads for Utøya and is stuck in a traffic jam, watching ambulances speed past. Hospital priest Knut realises the gravity of this tragedy.

Helga tries to stop Ruben from leaving. At the Riks Hospital, Knut is busy with the logistics of the autopsies and the care for the bereaved.

The police manipulate the information about the police operation. Mads gives an interview and decides to flee the country.

It's New Year's Eve. Anine dreams about Breivik as a child. She's by herself, consumed by the 22nd of July. Abdi and his brother go downtown to watch the fireworks.
