Episode 3, For the Love of Baking

Building Blocks: Pie dough, blind baking, fruit preparation, lattice-top design, technique and time-management, doughnut batter, working with yeast, how to make a glaze, frying, piping, decorating, and time-management.

Episode 4, The County Fair

Building Blocks: making pate-a-choux from scratch, making pastry cream from scratch, working with pastry bags and pastry tips, stencils, 3D cake work, edible molding agents, design, creativity, multi-tasking.

Episode 5, Best in Show

The final two recruits face off in a Season 1 finale, which finds them taking over a bakery and trying to impress a panel of experts for the chance to win 25,000 dollars.
