The Isle of Man lies in the midst of the Irish Sea between Ireland and England. Officially the island belongs to the Crown, Queen Elizabeth II, yet it has its own laws and its own currency.

Episode 2, The Isle of Man

Only 25 km from the French coast lies the Channel Island of Jersey. Town names like St. Helier are reminders of its Norman ancestry. Elizabeth II. is the head of the State in her capacity  as Duke Of Normandy.

Turquoise seas, picturesque countryside, secluded coves: The Scilly Isles are Britains sunny paradise. The 140 islands, some tiny, lie almost 50 km southwest of Cornwall, only five of them are inhabited.
