While Phillip recovers in hospital, Cate makes the most of his absence by escalating her affair with Julian Lee. Bart's amour fou with Georgia Konig dominates his life. Sophia is rocked by the discovery that her son was selling drugs on his buck's night, a revelation that leads her to make a controversial decision.

Phillip, becoming increasingly puzzled by the changes to his character, orders Sandra to bypass the protocols and get him the name of his donor. Escaping the mounting tensions off the back of her interview, Sophia and Bella get away to a beach shack, where David proposes to her. In their absence, Martina attempts suicide.

After being relentlessly badgered by Phillip to get him the name of his donor, Sandra works with Cate in some mysterious game to manipulate him. Georgia schemes with ex-mercenary Mikael Stein, who is amused and fascinated by her toxic amorality.

Phillip, believing his donor is Danny Grey, creates a charitable Foundation to gain proximity to Sophia. The Walford and Grey worlds finally collide, as Sophia and Bella arrive for the Foundation Launch. Georgia and Mikael choose the night of the Launch for setting her revenge against Bishop Welles in motion.

Phillip stuns Sophia by naming the Foundation after Danny. Cate, hope growing that the Phillip she once loved is returning, reconsiders her affair with Julian. Georgia's ruin of Welles begins, as Mikael plants incriminating evidence in the eminent bishop's study.

Sandra is shocked when she learns Cate's greatest and darkest secret. This alters her whole view of the Walford family. Bart, believing Georgia's lie that Welles is blackmailing her, goes with her to the police to initiate criminal proceedings. Sophia and David realize that the road ahead of them might not be as easy as they imagined.

Georgia meets with Welles, with a hidden police presence in tow. With public scrutiny mounting, Mikael takes Georgia and Rebecca to a private location away from the media. Phillip and Bart go head to head, the bitter confrontation initiating a health crisis.

Spurred on by journalist Jane Forbes, Sophia asks Phillip if he has Danny's heart. Softened by his deep communication with Sophia, Phillip gives Bart his blessing to announce his engagement. He is stunned by Bart's life changing response.
