The first episode of the Celebrity MasterChef Ireland introduces us to eight well known faces ready to battle it out in the MasterChef Ireland kitchen.

Celebrity Masterchef is the Irish celebrity edition of the international hit format MasterChef. The show is a reality cooking competition. Over six weeks the celebrities will be put through a series of gruelling culinary tasks. These challenges have been designed by Michelin Star Chef Dylan McGrath and Restaurateur Nick Munier, to push the celebrities cooking skills and ability to the limit.

Celebrity Masterchef is the Irish celebrity edition of the international hit MasterChef.

The seven remaining cooks will be split into teams by Nick and Dylan, as they are asked to cater for a dinner party celebrating The Gathering in Drogheda. Hosted by entrepreneur Gavin Duffy and his wife Orlaith Carmody, the contestants must create a memorable night for the guests who are visiting American friends, local food producers and business people.

Having reached the halfway point of the competition the six remaining cooks will receive a Dessert Master Class from world renowned Pastry Chef Claire Clark.

Episode 3 of 6

The five remaining celebrity cooks will be given the ultimate challenge in pressure cooking when they are tasked with providing a two course, main and dessert, in their first ever restaurant service for their invited guests. Their guests will be joined by food bloggers, writers and successful food producers. Dylan will be keeping a watchful eye on them in the kitchen as he runs the pass...

Episode 4 of 6

Having made it to the semi-final, the four cooks will be given their most important challenge to date when they are asked to cook one dish, a 'Show Stopper', that will wow Dylan and Nick and make them worthy of a place in the final. They will be given an extensive pantry made up of the best of Irish ingredients and one hour thirty minutes to create a dish.

Six weeks ago eight Irish celebrities left the comfort of their lifestyles behind to face the intense pressure and blistering heat of the MasterChef kitchen. It's been the challenge of a lifetime. Week by week as the standard got higher not every celebrity cook managed to cut it in the kitchen. Now just three remain to battle it out in the final.
