Documentary series about two reclamation yards in the north west of England. In Preston, Ribble Reclamation is thrown into turmoil by new owner Paul, who has invested a lot of money into the business and wants to see big changes. The pressure is on to make a profit, so when a local hotel owner comes into the yard and takes a fancy to a giant cast-iron cockerel, manager Dale goes in for the hard sell. Rival yard Beeston Reclamation is run by brothers Trevor and Lee, and sibling rivalry can sometimes get in the way of the smooth running of the business. Trev sends Lee out to an auction to buy some stock, with instructions not to get any more chairs, and when Lee returns with two chairs, Trev is less than impressed
