Mollie became a well-known face playing Nellie Harvey in Coronation Street for more than ten years, before securing starring roles in sitcoms like The Liver Birds and Are You Being Served?. Her protrayal of the saucy Mrs Slocombe, who famously turned the air as blue as her rinse, made her a global icon
