Antiques dealers make secret bids against each other for homeowners' most valued possessions. The homeowners then have to decide what to sell and what to keep. Tim, Karen and Mark visit an imposing Victorian home owned by fashion lecturer Sally who is offering an 18-carat gold watch and an unusual inkwell. But can the dealers persuade Sally to part with another gold watch, of great sentimental value, which belonged to her husband? In the second house, Tim and Karen get into a bidding war over a Victorian silver- plated cruet set, and Mark is caught hiding a gold Victorian brooch
