Steve Leonard presents the series in which UK veterinary students learn about being a wildlife vet in South Africa. At the neighbouring Shamwari Game Reserve, the students prepare to capture of a herd of eland, and Michael is given the most dangerous job - driving the animals onto the waiting trailer. This is the point at which they could attack, using their horns aggressively. Later, the students take part in the capture of a breeding pair of giraffes. The animals must be sedated and then quickly given an antidote, or else they may die. Emily and Rebecca are in charge of delivering the antidote, but while Emily's part goes smoothly, Rebecca is not so lucky
