A new series which looks at the work of the District Nurses who travel around the country caring for their patients in their own homes. In Somerset, Shonna drives hundreds of miles a week through the countryside to see her patients which include a decorated war veteran, and a former tea-lady who retired at 80 and is determined not let bad health ruin her life. Specialist Nurse Karen has been called out to see Audrey who is unable to walk following a stroke, but is determined to get back on her feet and regain her independence
