Police have issued a description of a man who sexually assaulted a four year old boy in a busy supermarket. The youngster was able to give detectives details of his attacker, who preyed on him in a toilet of an Asda store in Clydebank while his mother stood just a few yards away. The Finance Secretary John Swinney has hinted that he expects other employers to end the pay freeze for public sector workers. In other news, an investigation is underway after an elderly man was found "bleeding profusely" in squalid conditions in the Edinburgh home he shares with his sister. And finally in sport, Ally McCoist insists his legendary status at Rangers shouldn't afford him any speacial treament from the Ibrox faithful. McCoist has come under pressure following the club's poor start to the season - but the Rangers manager says he should be judged in the long, not short term. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide.
