In other news; the sister of a woman stabbed to death by her partner has told a fatal accident inquiry how she'd begged for help in the weeks before. Jacqueline Hughes was killed at her home in Glasgow in 2007. Her family want to know why more wasn't done to treat James Bryceland before the attack. And; the Jenny Methven murder trial has heard how the man accused of killing her, wrote a suicide note shortly before he cut his throat. In it William Kean said he was scared of getting blamed for something he hadn't done. Shortly afterwards Mr Kean was taken to hospital in Perth suffering from a self inflicted knife wound to his neck. Also in sport; Peter Houston says the inclusion of Ian Black in the Scotland squad is not a one off and is justified because of his form for Hearts last season. While the Rangers midfielder has been called up for the friendly against Australia, his team-mate Lee Wallace was overlooked after manager Craig Levein said it'd be difficult for a player to raise his game from the 3rd division to international level.
