In other news; Scientists around the world were celebrating today as the discovery of what appears to be the 'God Particle' was announced. Named after a former university of Edinburgh Professor, the Higgs Boson particle could help us understand all substance in the universe. And in sport; former Rangers forward Stephen Naismith has signed a 4 year deal with Everton. The 25-year-old Scotland international, who spent 5 years at Ibrox, moved to Merseyside after refusing to transfer to a Rangers newco. Meanwhile John Fleck has completed his move to English league 1 side Coventry City. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide.
