Thousands of rail passengers have had a day of disruption and delay caused by landslides and derailment. Services are still not back to normal tonight, 24 hours after torrential rain caused both the East and West Coast main lines to be closed. The West Highland Line is blocked by a train which left the track near Fort William and in Glasgow, people queued for nearly half a mile at Central Station, waiting to get on a train. Tonight the West Coast main line is still closed because of problems with overhead power lines. In other news: The Chief Executive of RBS Stephen Hester is to waive his bonus for this year following the computer problems that caused chaos for thousands of customers; seven year old Olivia Downie lost her fight against cancer this morning. In sport: Proposals to allow Rangers to play in the First Division next season are unlikely to be approved by SFL clubs in their current form. They'll meet on Tuesday to discuss the plans - with Dunfermline announcing today they will be voting against. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide. It has been edited for rights reasons, which also allows us to keep the programme online after the initial 24-hour broadcast window in the UK has passed. Viewers within the UK who want to watch the full episode 'as broadcast' should select the UK version of the programme.
