US Billionaire Donald Trump today accused the First Minister of luring him to invest in Scotland with false assurances. The American tycoon told MSPs Alex Salmond said a planned offshore windfarm near his Aberdeenshire golf resort would not go ahead when they met in New York. Mr Trump was appearing before a Holyrood committee examining green energy targets. In other news: Gordon Brown declared war on Rupert Murdoch's business interests when the Sun newspaper backed David Cameron before the 2010 General Election. At the Leveson Inquiry today the media tycoon said that the former Prime Minister was not in a balanced state of mind as he sought to reverese the decision. As the parents of Madeleine McCann face the fifth anniversary of their daughter's disappearance, detectives today said that she 'could be alive'. They have released an age progressed image of how she might look today at the age of nine. They are also calling for the case to be re opened. Sir David Murray's company is to release documents concerning the takeover of the club after Rangers administrators obtained a court order in Edinburgh. The material sought by Duff and Phelps included all letters, faxes, filenotes and emails between Murray's firm and English solicitors Collyer Bristow, who are now being sued by the administrators at the High Court in London. Thousands of students across the country have begun sitting their exams today. The Scottish Qualifications Authority says almost 159,000 pupils will sit more than 700,000 exams over the next six weeks, ranging from Standard Grade to Advanced Higher level.
