Rangers owner Craig Whyte has spoken exclusively to STV News as the announcement on player redundancies is delayed. In other news: Craig Roy, the killer of Lanarkshire schoolboy Jack Frew has been jailed for life; a man who kept dogs for animal fighting including badger baiting has been banned from owning pets for life; a man has been jailed for 14 months and banned from football grounds for three years after posting hate-filled messages about Celtic manager Neil Lennon; and in sport, Dunfermline today confirmed that they have only been able to pay part of their staff’s February salaries as a consequence of money owed to them by Rangers. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide. It has been edited for rights reasons, which also allows us to keep the programme online after the initial 24-hour broadcast window in the UK has passed. Viewers within the UK who want to watch the full episode 'as broadcast' should select the UK version of the programme.
