Armed police have closed off part of Glasgow city centre after reports that a man claiming to have a bomb has barricaded himself inside a restaurant. A police cordon has been set-up around Nelson Mandela Square, with shoppers and commuters being diverted from the area. In other news: Labour has started the process to expel four Councillors who voted with the opposition to try to bring down the party's budget for Glasgow; The Rangers owner Craig Whyte has lost a legal battle after a Sheriff described his evidence as "wholly unreliable." In sport: Hearts manager Paulo Sergio has unleashed an astonishing attack on Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels: calling him a clown, a man with no ethics, claims his players speak about him behind his back and has threatened to shake him by the neck when the two clubs go head-to-head tomorrow. Sergio has been angered after Shiels effectively accused the Hearts gaffer of failing to stand up to Vladimir Romanov over team selection. This is an international version of the news that may have been edited for rights reasons.
