A member of a Westminster committee which has been investigating press standards in Britain says the Sun newspaper was right to publish pictures of a naked Prince Harry. Glasgow Labour MP Jim Sheridan said he hoped the prince would learn lessons from the affair. The paper ran the images after they were viewed by millions of people online. In other news; Scots golden girl Heather Stanning has arrived back home in Moray, with her Olympic rowing medal. Hundreds turned out as the winner of Team GB's first gold was driven through the streets of Elgin in an open top jeep. And in sport; Pat Fenlon has warned Hibernian's new striker Shefki Kuqi he faces a challenge to get in the team. The veteran Finn joined the club last week but his manager is impressed by the developing partnership between Leigh Griffiths and Eoin Doyle. Hibs play host to St Johnstone this weekend, who are yet to win in the SPL this season. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide. It has been edited for rights reasons, which also allows us to keep the programme online after the initial 24-hour broadcast window in the UK has passed. Viewers within the UK who want to watch the full episode 'as broadcast' should select the UK version of the programme.
