Scotland has been soaked once again as heavy rain brought localised flooding to parts of the country today. It's been one of the wettest starts to the summer, with three months worth of rain falling in the last five weeks over Edinburgh. Travel agents are reporting a massive surge in bookings as disgruntled Scots head abroad in the search of sunshine. In other news: Scottish dairy farmers joined a rally in London today, to protest against planed cuts to the price they're paid for supplying milk; The jury in the trial of man accused of conspiring with another man who carried out a suicide bombing in Sweden has heard closing speeches from the prosecution. In sport: Scotland's three governing bodies have revealed plans to increase the number of teams in the Scottish Premier League for the 2013/14 season. As expected the proposals also include the introduction of play-offs, while the door has been opened to clubs which currently aren't in the Scottish Leagues. If approved, the new structure will be phased in over a two year period. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide. It has been edited for rights reasons, which also allows us to keep the programme online after the initial 24-hour broadcast window in the UK has passed.
