American businessman Bill Miller sensationally pulls out of his bid for Glasgow Rangers. Footballer Derek Riordan has been arrested after an alleged disturbance outside an Edinburgh nightclub. The St Johnstone player is said to have been involved in an incident with a bouncer outside the HMV Picturehouse on Lothian Road. He'll appear at Edinburgh Sherrif Court later this month. Scotland's two biggest parties have joined forces to run the capital's council after days of negotiations. In a historic coalition, Labour and the SNP will team up to govern Edinburgh.
