Hundreds of mourners gathered today to pay tribute to a brother and sister who were murdered in a deliberate fire at their home in Helensburgh. The mother of Bridget and Thomas Sharkey, the sole survivor of the blaze, joined friends and family for the funeral service that was described as a 'celebration' of the lives of her children. In other news; A convicted rapist who carried out a series of sickening attacks on pensioners across Scotland has been given a life sentence. A judge described Alexander Gable as "dangerous and wicked" as he told him he might never be a free man. The fifty-five year-old has a lengthy criminal past, including raping a woman in her own home. And in sport; Ian Murray believes Hibs are an "easy target" for negative press and feels the side aren't given enough credit when they do well. The squad face Celtic for the second time this week when they travel to Parkhead tomorrow.
