A former Royal Marine has admitted setting off home-made bombs at flats in Dundee. One of the explosions detonated by Allan Peach blasted doors off their hinges and sent residents running for their lives. In other news: Plans to move Dundee's V&A museum inland have raised questions about the cost to the city's waterfront scheme. The directors look set to abandon the original idea to build on stilts in the River Tay, after being told there's a "serious risk" to the budget and time-table. Police have confirmed that a fire in the home of a Dundee anti-drugs campaigner was started deliberately. The blaze broke out in the living room of Ian Connelly's house in Finavon Terrace in Fintry early yesterday morning. He was asleep upstairs and had to be wakened by fire-fighters and led to safety. Forensic examinations of the house and door to door inquiries have been taking place today. Air crash investigators have found that a teenage pilot careered off Dundee airport's runway because of the orders given from the control tower. The eighteen year old was told to "keep her speed up" after landing so she could move clear of incoming aircraft. She missed the runway exit and ran onto the grass, crashing into taxiway boards in May this year. The Air Accident Investigation Branch has found that she was given "unexpected and non-standard" instruction from air traffic control. And in sports: Scotland's crucial World Cup qualifier against Wales gets under way in just over an hour at the City of Cardiff stadium. With neither team having won a match yet and both bosses under pressure - tonight's match is set to be a tense affair. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide.
