Show

A sex attacker whose victim fought him off by hitting him on the head with a stone has been jailed for three and a half years. Grzegorz Budach pulled a young woman into bushes off Lochee High Street in Dundee last September. She'd been on her way to a party when the twenty four year old struck. The woman managed to pick up a stone and hit him, then fled along Coupar Angus Road where a passer-by helped her get to a police station. In other news; the Dandy comic is to disappear from newsagents shelves. Publishers DC Thomson announced today that the last paper edition will be printed in December. But they're insisting it's not the end of the comic, which will live on in a new digital format. And in sport; And in sport; Inverness Caledonian Thistle skipper Richie Foran says a win at Hearts this weekend would help erase the memory of their dreadful start to last season. The midfielder has been a frustrated spectator so far this campaign as he served a two match suspension, but hopes he's done enough in training to convince Terry Butcher to involve him at Tynecastle. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide. It has been edited for rights reasons, which also allows us to keep the programme online after the initial 24-hour broadcast window in the UK has passed. Viewers within the UK who want to watch the full episode 'as broadcast' should select the UK version of the programme.
