Loved ones have paid their last respects at the funeral of a pilot, killed in an apparent mid-air collision involving two RAF Tornado jets. The service for 27-year-old Flight Lieutenant Adam Sanders was held this afternoon at St Aiden's Church at RAF Lossiemouth. In other news; Scotrail has been fined over three hundred and seventy thousand pounds in the past year for failing to meet tough standards on providing services. A 75-year-old man who died in a tragic road accident outside Scott Brothers in Dundee's Coldside Road this morning has been formally identified as George Jarron of South Kingennie, Angus. A man's been rescued after spending last night trapped in his overturned car in highland Perthshire. The sixty five year old was discovered just before mid-day stuck in his vehicle in a gully near the Ben Lawers Visitor Centre. He was released by firefighters and airlifted to hospital in Glasgow. Police are hunting a group of men who attacked a taxi driver in Forfar after a night out in Dundee. The driver picked up six passengers in the city's Dock Street Candle Lane area at about two o'clock on Sunday morning. And in sport; amid all the uncertainty Rangers are trying to assemble a squad for the new campaign. STV News understands they've held talks today with St Johnstone trialist, Kevin Kyle.
