The Serious Fraud Office is considering whether to bring criminal charges against bankers embroiled in the latest scandal. The revelation comes as the Prime Minister announced a review of the industry following interest rate rigging allegations. But Labour says the inquiry won’t go far enough, while the SNP claim it's not just bankers who have tough questions to answer. In other news: Perth has been awarded 650 thousand pounds to restore and repair its historic buildings; Scientists in Dundee have found that a common diabetes drug may help patients with heart failure. In sport: As expected there are no Scots in the Team GB Men's Olympic football squad. However coach Stuart Pearce has defended his selection, saying it was about ability and not nationality. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide. It has been edited for rights reasons, which also allows us to keep the programme online after the initial 24-hour broadcast window in the UK has passed. Viewers within the UK who want to watch the full episode 'as broadcast' should select the UK version of the programme.
