A man is fighting for his life following a head-on crash in Fife. The accident involving a Land Rover and a Peugeot car happened on the A92 between Freuchie and Ladybank just after midday. The driver of the Peugeot had to be cut free and was taken by air ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. In other news; Hundreds of new apprenticeships are set to be created in Fife as a local fabrication yard capitalises on the growing renewable energy industry. Politicians visited BiFab in Methil today on a fact finding mission. They're investigating whether the Scottish Government's ambitious target of generating one hundred per cent of the country's electricity from renewable sources by 2020 is achievable. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide.
