Struggling Scots single mums could find themselves thousands of pounds a year worse off under Westminster welfare reforms. That's the claim from Save the Children who warn families could be pushed into poverty. The government has accused the charity of being "disingenuous" and say lone parents will be better off. Campaigners say the reforms will set the battle against child poverty BACK by more than a decade in Scotland.
