A court's been hearing how a school clerk turned to embezzlement when his banking shares crashed during the financial crisis. David Burns had been a trusted member of staff at Elie Primary for 20 years. But when his forty thousand pounds RBS shareholding lost more than 90 per cent of its value he used the school bank card to steal more than three thousand pounds. In other news; A Government minister's been praising Tayside firefighters for their actions in bringing one of the region's biggest fires in years under control. Community Safety Minister Rosanna Cunningham says the way they tackled the blaze at a recycling centre in Perth was a huge testament to their training. And in sport; Dundee United Manager, Peter Houston, says if Paul Dixon continues to focus on club matters, Scotland recognition WILL come.
