Adventure activity operators and anglers are set for a fresh court battle over white water rafting on part of the River Tay. A sheriff's ruling in January, which banned rafting on the river near Aberfeldy for three days a week during the salmon season, has been overturned at Perth Sheriff Court. Rafting operators had appealed, claiming they didn't get a chance to defend themselves against the anglers' claims that rafting was ruining the fishing. In other news; Detectives investigating the alleged murder of a Dundee man have renewed an appeal for witnesses. Three men have already been charged in connection with the death of Alexander McLennan after an incident in the Mid Craigie area of the city near the Kingsway in January. And in sport; Former Dundee Chairman, Stuart Murphy says patience and unity will be key in ensuring Rangers emerge from administration. Murphy helped guide Dundee out of administration last year as a fans represenative on the board. This international version of STV News at Six is viewable world-wide.
