A woman's died in Fife after her car collided with a bus. The crash happened on the road between Kennoway and Leven as Scotland was battered by gale force winds. The vehicles had been negotiating a bend when the head on collision took place. As a result the bus veered off the road and narrowly avoided trees and nearby houses. Around a dozen passengers and the bus driver escaped with minor injuries. In other news; A man accused of owning three Rottweilers which mauled a young girl has told a court that he drove to the scene of the alleged attack despite being banned for drink driving. Derek Adam said he received a call from his son, telling him the dogs had escaped from his former partner's house in Linton Road, Dundee on August the 29th last year. He took a car from his work and went to look for them. And in sport; Aberdeen boss Craig Brown says he's inquired about bringing former Don, Chris Maguire, back to Pittodrie.
