A woman's died in Fife after her car collided with a bus. The crash happened on the road between Kennoway and Leven as Scotland was battered by gale force winds. The vehicles had been negotiating a bend when the head on collision took place. As a result the bus veered off the road and narrowly avoided trees and nearby houses. Around a dozen passengers and the bus driver escaped with minor injuries. In other news; A man accused of owning three Rottweilers which mauled a young girl has told a court that he drove to the scene of the alleged attack despite being banned for drink driving. Derek Adam said he received a call from his son, telling him the dogs had escaped from his former partner's house in Linton Road, Dundee on August the 29th last year. He took a car from his work and went to look for them. And in sport; Aberdeen boss Craig Brown says he's inquired about bringing former Don, Chris Maguire, back to Pittodrie. Maguire's struggled to make an impact after quitting for Derby in the Summer. This is an international version of the news that may have been edited for rights reasons.
