Timmy MacColl from Killin hasn't been seen since he failed to return to his Royal Navy ship in the Emirates five months ago. Now the 27-year-old's family is making a fresh appeal for information. In local news; Workers on ferry services to the Northern Isles are to be balloted on strike action. Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union will vote in the coming weeks on whether to launch a campaign of industrial action which will take effect over the festive season. Also in sport; the last two League Cup semi final spots will be decided tonight. Inverness and Dundee United are hoping to grab them. The Highlanders head to Rangers, while United host Hearts.
