Scotland's Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill is denying claims that he told the Lockerbie bomber to drop his appeal to make it "easier" for him to be released on compassionate grounds. Abdel Baset al Megrahi, the only man ever convicted for the atrocity, makes the allegation in his book "You Are My Jury" which will be published tomorrow. In it, he protests his innocence and insists he was the "victim of dirty politics, a flawed investigation and judicial folly".
