He's now plain Fred Goodwin, but the disgraced banker was winning some support today following the removal of his knighthood. The former Chancellor Alastair Darling said Goodwin's treatment had been "tawdry" and suggested the process of stripping him of his title had been unfair and politically motivated. And the Intitutute of Directors has expressed concern about "anti-business hysteria." In other news; Cuts to college budgets and a confusing array of jobs schemes....today the Scottish Government's youth unemployment strategy came under attack. There are now more than a hundred thousand young people out of work in Scotland. The First Minister say's solving the crisis is his government's top priority. And in sport; Daniel Uchechi's admitted a glowing recommendation from former Don Sone Aluko sold him on a Pittodrie move. Uchechi was paraded today, after finalising his protracted switch to Aberdeen.
