With up to 60 thousand festive revellers converging on Aberdeen city centre this weekend police have praised their good behaviour. It was the busiest 48-hour period of the year for the city's pubs and clubs, but only 20 arrests were made, mainly for minor incidents. In other news; Police have launched a crack-down on young drink-drivers in rural Aberdeenshire. So far this year, 34 percent of those caught in the Grampian force area have been under the age of 25.
