The Met office has warned of high winds of up to 80mph and up to 10 cm of snow meaning blizzard conditions for parts of the country. There's already been a spate of accidents including the on the A9 at Dalwhinnie. The road south from the Slochd near Inverness is described as difficult. Drivers are being warned of potentially hazardous conditions in the coming hours. In other news; A seal pup found wandering around a field full sheep in Orkney after last week's stormy weather is now being cared for in an island rescue centre. And in sport; St Johnstone host Aberdeen in the SPL tonight. It's a huge game for BOTH teams, who're targetting wins for very different reasons.
