Five soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan take on one of the world's toughest challenges, Mount Everest, supported by Prince Harry - the expedition's patron and their friend. This documentary follows the five from training in the UK to their attempt to conquer the 8,848 metre peak. In a year which saw 11 deaths on the world's highest mountain, the team struggle with altitude, night climbs in freezing temperatures, deadly avalanches and crossings over deep crevasses. They climb up the deadliest part of the mountain - the infamous Khumbu icefall, where the expedition has to be abandoned due to bad weather and extreme danger on the slopes above. Although their attempt fails, they gain strength and learn valuable lessons that will help them all as they face life back in Civvy Street
