Martin Clunes travels to the island of Madagascar to investigate the fate of the world's last surviving lemurs. Lemurs live only on this beautiful island and, species by species, they are disappearing. In this moving film, Martin meets those who are trying to protect this wonderful creature from extinction and, although he is saddened by what he sees of the destruction of the lemurs' natural habitat, he is inspired by the dedicated work of the conservationists. He also travels to the Betampona nature reserve in a bid to track down some captive-bred black-and-white ruffed lemurs, which were brought there in 1997 in hopes that they would mate with the wild population
