Tim Vine hosts a quiz show in which teams made up of two generations from the same family answer general knowledge questions to build up their Inheritance Prize Fund and make it through to the final. Parents first compete against each other to add thousands of pounds to their son or daughter's prize fund, but only one pair makes it to the final - where it is the turn of the children to answer the questions correctly and keep the cash rather than undoing all of mum or dad's hard work
